A Childhood Should Be Fun Ladybirds is a happy place, full of fun and very safe. Babies are given loving care and, when they are ready, encouraged to play. Until 2 years we concentrate on play and on getting children used to being together. From 2 years we move progressively towards more learning activities whilst always retaining our sense of fun. What Your Child Will Do Communication skills are developed by extending vocabulary and fluency. Personal and emotional development is achieved by encouraging confidence, respect and independence. Mathematic principals are explored, creative and motor skills developed through physical activities. Our books and equipment are modern and designed especially for the purpose. Sessions include art and craft, dance and music, simple science investigations, computer and key board experiences and structured play. Our fully enclosed outdoor playground, with its safety surface, is also well equipped. There are also outings and other events Monitoring Progress We operate a unique “key worker” system, in which you are fully involved. This ensures that your child’s progress will be constantly individually assessed and regularly discussed with yourself.
